WWRA Chairman, Kevin Chapman, says of our candidate, “Wisdom has been a councillor before and in my view has the experience to fully represent the people of Clewer North ward. Particularly in relation to the proposed construction of 650 new houses in the green belt and the potential closure of our fire station.”

“It is interesting to see in the pamphlet issued on behalf of the conservative candidate. That he is adopting WWRA policies. Standing against the new houses and closure of the fire station. Is the conservative candidate really going to stand against policies of the local tory administration?”

Wisdom Da Costa commented,”I am honoured to be again approved by the West Windsor Residents Association to represent the residents of Clewer North.”

“We will have to work hard to win as other parties are flooding the area with non-Windsorians in an effort to influence the vote. So, the more helpers we can get, the greater the hope for a representative democracy in Windsor and Maidenhead. To volunteer to help, please email WWRA’s Membership Secretary, Sara McDonnell on [email protected]

As ever, I will work hard and skillfully for you and, I will take a stand on issues important to you such as housing, planning, school funding, residents health, roads, aircraft noise, fire station cover, management of Council funding etc.”

“I will speak out fearlessly for you when we see injustice and poor conduct in Council.”

“With the WWRA, I will continue doing what we have always done, representing residents, you, without bias; seeking to make Windsor a better place, for all.

I urge you to vote Wisdom Da Costa on Thursday 4th May 2017

Wisdom Da Costa, Catherine Mclinden (Centre Manager), and John Endacott

Committee member Richard Endacott, said, “I am delighted that Wisdom Da Costa has decided to stand for the West Windsor Residents Association Independents at the Clewer North By-Election.”

“It is essential that local residents are given a voice at the Town Hall on issues which affect you, whether that be the proposed development of 650 houses to the west of Dedworth, the removal of a bus service between West Windsor and Maidenhead or the poor state of our local roads and pavements.”

I am proud of the way West Windsor Residents Association councillors, such as my Mother former Councillor Cynthia Endacott have ensured that Clewer North Residents have been able to work with the ruling majorities in the council, regardless of their political colour over the past 30 years and I am delighted that Wisdom Da Costa has agreed to carry on this legacy, ensuring fair representation for Clewer North residents.”

Richard Endacott stressed, “I urge you to vote Wisdom Da Costa on Thursday 4th May 2017.”
